Rumi began his adult life as a scholar of Muslim jurisprudence, but one day a fellow by the name of Shams Tabrizi showed up in his classroom and asked a question that turned Rumi on his head and redirected his personal and professional life.
The fellows hosted two guest speakers (professor and author, Ori Z Soltes and acclaimed poet, Mujib Mehrdad) to find out what the question was and the implications it had for his life and the poetry for which he remains renowned 750 years after his death.
