Guests joined our fellows for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community as they transformed the Abrahamic House space into a coffee house highlighting drinks from across the globe. From Türk kahvesi to Cà Phê Sữa Đá to caffès. Guests were encouraged to participate in meaningful cross-cultural conversations through prompts suggested by the fellows. One of our Muslim Fellows, Esma, made her delicious Türk kahvesi and then used the grounds to read fortunes!
This was an “open house” style event, so the community dropped by anytime from 10AM-2PM. We had an amazing turnout of over 70 people!
The event also highlighted pastries and drinks from Lincoln Le, a local baker and chef who runs his own home cafe and restaurant. You can check out his work on instagram, @thelincexperience. Thank you so much to Lincoln for the beautiful pastries, drinks, and all his hard work in bringing this collaboration to life.
