Candid Conversations is our newest series at Abrahamic House, created with the intention of providing a space for meaningful discussions on topics that impact our communities. This series is designed to allow us to slow down, share a meal together, and engage in conversation with the goal of learning from one another. These dinners will be small and intimate, with only 15 guests per event. Participants were selected intentionally to ensure a diverse representation of racial, religious, ethnic, and other backgrounds.
This month we talked about faith lineages. This Conversation Club topic revolved around a two page excerpt from the memoir A Border Passage: From Cairo to America — A Woman’s Journey by Leila Ahmed.
